How do we balance routine and celebration? This season can be busy and happy and exciting and stressful, let’s work to understand our goals and limits, to have a reasonable plan, and to communicate it with grace and flexibility. As always, we will encourage each other, build on our strengths, and return home with something to think about and something to try.

Parent Conversations: 

Continuing the learning from the Forum and highlighting the theme of the month, especially as it applies to specific ages. We meet most Thursday evenings in person and virtually. These gatherings will be rich with practical insight and sharing.

First Monday Forums for Parents: 

Join us for parent education programs observing various awareness months over the year. We will be bringing in speakers and panels to share their expertise with young families in our community. These times are designated to be informative, applicable and interactive.

Bio: 

Parent Educator, Dana Allen, PhD, leads the forums and the Conversations. Her background includes years of research in child development, adult learning, family support as well as 22 years of parenting experience suits her for such a role.
